I have been out hunting again, just posted some new finds over at etsy, I almost didn’t want to part with this tray, it goes great with my rusty kitchen rabbits….
The week has been bustling with all my little rabbits ( aka….boys ) off to school for their final week….with only 4 days left until summer break. So far this week I have been bombarded with questions of ” what are we going to do for summer? ” ” Where are we vacationing?? ” I am anticipating a jam packed summer of fun, full of frog hunting, beach days and tons of ice cream. In between the chaotic joy of my life with all boys….I hope to cram in tons of girly time for me, treasure hunting and creating new pieces for my boutique!
Right now the weather in California feels warm against the skin, no more harsh cold….anything below 65 to us on the West Coast feels harsh….and Spring has zoomed right past me…..I wanted to take a moment and show you some gorgeous photography to bid farewell to spring…straight from the studio of my dear friend Helene from Connecticut. She is a brilliant photographer, and she has traveled to some amazing places….her pictures capture the essence of color…..I encourage you to pop over to her site and take a peek at her talent….her pics make fabulous framed art. Here is her website http://www.hms-photography.com/ , or just click on the photo for link.
Found this today on Pinterest…isn’t this the most simple serene bedroom? I love how everything is clean and neutral…and of course the chandelier is fabulous. If I could hang a chandelier in every corner of my house and not be mocked by my all boy household…I would do it in a heartbeat. But in reality people, I live with 4 guys…..one grown man, a man-child and 2 little even grubbier boys….I am lucky that the most serene neutral area in my house is the tiny clean section in the back of the laundry room where no one ventures…..I love the fantasy of pinterest! Someday it will be mine
I am in love with all things Pinterest! I sit down with my morning coffee….which ends up 2 morning coffees…and the day can disappear if I am not watchful of the time. I just found this pin, and I wanted to rush out and sit here with my coffee. But unfortunately, I don’t have a spot like this at home….so now when my hubby gets home…guess what conversation we will have…..how can we create a spot like this in our yard? Which in my husbands mind will translate into…..this is gonna cost me a bundle, and now I must be dragged across the town for at least 2 weekends to locate this stuff. Poor husbands, they probably secretly loathe Pinterest.
